World coffee prices rose 4.6% in Dec – ICO

World’s coffee prices in December increased by 4.6% to 114.74 US cents per pound as prices of Arabica varieties increased, according to the International Coffee Organization (ICO).

The largest increase was seen in the price of Brazilian Naturals, which grew by 8% during the period to 114.96 cents per pound, which is the highest increase since December 2019.

Colombian milds increased by 5.7% to 170.44 US cents per pound and other molds by 4.7% to 157.81 cents per pound, which are both higher than their average in December 2919.

Total coffee exports during the first two months of the crop year –.October and November — rose by 6.5% compared to the same period last year.
